AAIS Software

The Academic Advising Inventory (AAI) was developed by Roger B. Winston, Jr., Ph. D. and Janet A. Sandor, Ph. D. at The University of Georgia. The Academic Advising Inventory System (AAIS) is an electronic version of that measuring instrument.

Note that all source code is in the MS-Excel files and can be viewed by anyone who knows how to. Despite the scary disclaimers above this is not rocket science.

software, or how to receive technical help.

The AAIS Software
The purpose of the Academic Advising Inventory System (AAIS) is to minimize the time needed in administrating Academic Advising Inventory (AAI) surveys to students and to minimize the time needed to consolidate all the student surveys and report the results.

The software consists of four MS-Excel files. A new MS-Excel file will be created for each student taking the survey. The software can be configured to exclude any part of the AAI survey. If you do not want to use Part II of the AAI survey, then you just tell the software that (the AAIS User’s Manual will tell you how).
